Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports To: Day Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5:30pm
Pay: $11.50/hr, Entry Level
Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
- Team Member who reinforces Jake's mission, vision and core values at all times while ensuring that the company's loading activities run safely, efficiently and profitably.
- Using our picking system or the label system to select product.
- Properly stack and label products on pallets for pick-up by the customer.
- Provide great Customer Service.
- Treat all products you touch with respect.
- Report all spills, breakage, and damage of product to a supervisor.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and practices.
- Act as a back-up to other warehouse functions as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management team.
Physical Requirements (include, but not limited to)

- Ability to routinely lift/move up to 65 pounds, occasionally lifting heavier amounts.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to work in cooler temperature zones as low as -20 degrees.
- Ability to maintain a high level of visual attention and accuracy and mental concentration for significant periods of time as required.
- Ability to perform the following physical activities: fine manipulating with hands, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as labels, work instructions, and reports.
- Ability to speak and communicate well with team members.
- Ability to hear commands from picking system and verbally respond to it.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Job Attributes
- Ability to safely operate a motorized pallet jack.
- Attention to accuracy and detail; must be able to accurately keep records and have a high level of organizational skills.
- Displays professionalism, a good work ethic, and is accountable for one's actions.
- Act in an ethical manner, treat team members, customers, vendors and visitors with respect, and is adaptable to a changing environment.
