Title: Associate Data Analyst
Reports To: Director of Retail Sales
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Review daily reports
- Ongoing collection, organization, and deciphering of data
- Provide ongoing reports concerning inventory levels and tracking of purchase orders
- Provide Quality Assurance of imported data
- Assisting sales with the development of reports and analysis
- Assisting with Marketing Programs and activities that may be seasonal and require nonstandard hours
- Maintenance of UPC file and order guide
- Generating reports from single or multiple systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Work cross-functionally to collect data and manage projects
- Seek to identify trends and patterns throughout the data to find strengths and weaknesses
- Use data collection and analysis to leverage productivity and sales
Requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Can communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and writing
- Excels in writing, reading, synthesizing, and interpreting data
- Experience writing and presenting clear and actionable data summary reports
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Organized and efficient
- Strong computer Literacy and an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Works well independently and can equally excel as a collaborator within a team
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Customer Service experience
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or 3 years equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in data collection, analyzation and application to business strategies needed
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in inter-departmental processes and/or designing metrics and scorecards
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak and communicate well with customers, and other team members
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Job Attributes:
- Attention to accuracy and detail; must be able to accurately keep records and posses organizational skills
- Displays professionalism, a good work ethic, and is accountable for one's actions
- Act in an ethical manner, treat team members, customers, vendors and visitors with respect, and is adaptable to a changing environment

- Some knowledge with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of food, food ingredients and nonfood products, their application and preparation
- Hotels/restaurant background preferred but not required

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass all screens
- 3 years of food service experience
- Willing to work additional hours, holidays and weekends as requested by Management.
